Sarasota County spans approximately 725 square miles and has about 434,000 residents, reflecting its appealing living conditions and thriving economy. The county boasts 35 miles of coastline with famous beaches like Siesta Key Beach, Lido Beach, and Venice Beach, known for their beauty and recreational opportunities.

Education is a priority, with the Sarasota County School District operating 53 schools and several higher education institutions, including the New College of Florida and Ringling College of Art and Design.

Culturally, Sarasota County is rich with institutions like the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, Sarasota Opera House, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Sarasota Ballet, and Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.
